Insurance products are provided through multiple insurance carriers

Term

Term insurance is the most traditional life insurance policy, however it is not designed to last for your entire life. This policy typically has no cash values and premiums can increase after ten or twenty years.

Universal Life

Universal life insurance (UL) is a type of permanent life insurance, with a flexible premium. Under the terms of the policy, the excess of premium payments above the current cost of insurance is credited to the cash value of the policy.

Whole Life

A life insurance contract with level premiums that has both an insurance and an investment component. The insurance component pays a stated amount upon death of the insured.

Critical Illness

Critical illness insurance is an insurance product in which the insurer is contracted to typically make a lump sum cash payment if the policyholder is diagnosed with one of the specific illnesses on a predetermined list as part of an insurance policy. Payment is normally made thirty (30) days after diagnosis, and is considered tax free.

Disability

Disability insurance offers income protection to individuals who become disabled for a short or long period of time, and as a result can no longer work during that time period.

Long Term Care

Long-Term Care (LTC) Insurance’ Coverage that provides nursing-home care, home-health care, personal or adult daycare for individuals with a chronic or disabling condition that needs constant supervision.

Accidental Death
And
Dismemberment

Accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) is a policy that pays benefits to the beneficiary if the cause of death is an accident. It also pays in the event of a loss of, or loss of use of, limbs or eyesight and such.

leaving
the country?

We have all heard the horror stories of travellers who injured themselves or became ill while outside of Canada and received medical bills in the tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars.

The reality is that spending even a few days in a foreign hospital can leave a person with bills that could lead to financial ruin.

Travel insurance, either short term or for extended periods is one of the least expensive ways to protect yourself and can cost as little as a few dollars a day for emergency medical protection for the duration of your travel outside of Canada.

Set up your travel insurance appointment well in advance of your departure date. Planning early will ensure that you get the best coverage and rate.

exploring
more options

Most Canadians understand the value of having life insurance, an inexpensive financial agreement that guarantees a pre-determined, tax-free, lump sump payment in the event of a death.

But life insurance can also be used as an effective tool to protect against taxes from large estate settlements or help pay fees such as legal expenses, funeral costs and other bills before an estate’s finances are settled.

Life insurance is a personal financial safety net that helps family access funds quickly compared to other financial options that may take months to access with a typical estate settlement process.

Life insurance can also be a wise succession-planning tool for business partnerships in the event that one partner passes away as their shares may be purchased by the funds from the insurance policy.
